About Us
T STOP AN ECO FRIENDLY COFFEE ESTATE
Nestled between hills and a jungle, T Stop is an eco-friendly coffee estate, where fireflies still dance at night like twinkling little stars at your hand’s reach and the breeze carries the songs of birds and gurgling gushes of the streams close by.
It has something to offer to everyone. Rest and peace to the weary, adventures to the brave, new experiences to the intrepid travelers, absolute abandon and joy to children and pets. It offers the beauty and diversity of the Western Ghats and each season is reflected by the different reflections the hills cast on the estate’s pond.
While many go for walks in and around the estate, some hike the forest trails, some find a corner to read and write, a fair few swim in the pond, most find the stillness within to enjoy being a part of this place.
T Stop is a pet friendly farmstay. We would be happy to welcome you, your family and share a slice of this wonderful place that we call home.
T STOP OUR PRIDE
We take pride in the fact that we try to minimize any impact on nature as all human activity including the coffee we grow and the home is concentrated on a fraction of the total land cover. Thus, giving each person who visits T Stop enough space to find a bit of themselves.
Built on strong environment friendly, sustainable principles, the estate has a well-appointed home and 2 cottages built in the vernacular style, using reclaimed materials, hertitage furniture and fixtures from our ancestral home. While the vistas are many from our home, each piece within has a story to tell.
Gayathri Kamath
Gayathri is a lawyer by profession and has painstakingly worked towards all the little details and pieces in and about T Stop to make it a lovely home. Gayathri loves the many walks and streams close by and will be happy to suggest the perfect spot to rest and relax, should you visit.
Gayathri is a foodie and has personally curated the menus at T Stop from amongst the many mouth watering recepies in our family.
Vikram Kamath
Vikram discovered T Stop about 13 years ago and fell in love with the place. He has been working towards giving up on his corporate life in the city. His plan to share all that T Stop has to offer has been in the works for more than four years and through the great pandemic.
T Stop is a labor of love and he is passionate about the coffee he grows, the place he tends to and deeply respects the heritage of the hills. Vikram will be happy to curate any experience you are looking for be it trails or picnics or a dash to any local attraction.
